Do not submit sensitive information through the appointment form. Do not enter Social Security numbers, account numbers, tax records, medical details, login credentials or copies of financial statements. An agent can explain a more appropriate way to exchange documents after an appointment is scheduled.
1. Scope
This Privacy Notice applies to information collected through insuredportfolios.com and the appointment-request form. It does not replace any separate privacy notice, authorization or disclosure provided during an insurance application, suitability review, underwriting process or carrier transaction.
2. Information we collect
When you request an appointment, we collect the information you choose to provide, including your name, telephone number, an approximate asset range and your stated reason for contacting us. The web server may also receive technical information such as the date and time of the request, Internet Protocol address, browser type, device type, referring page and security-related logs.
Embedded Vimeo players may receive information from your browser and may use cookies or similar technologies according to Vimeo’s own privacy practices. This website does not currently include advertising pixels or behavior-based advertising code by default. Your hosting provider may maintain standard server logs outside this website’s code.
3. How we use information
We use submitted information to respond to appointment requests, determine whether a preliminary conversation is appropriate, prepare for a requested meeting, provide insurance-related information, maintain security, prevent abuse, document consent, improve website performance and comply with applicable legal or regulatory obligations.
Submitting the form does not establish suitability, create a client relationship, authorize a transaction or guarantee that a product or appointment will be offered.
4. Phone and text communications
When you check the contact-authorization box and submit the form, you authorize Insured Portfolios, LLC and a licensed insurance agent to contact you at the number provided by telephone or text concerning your inquiry, insurance products and appointment scheduling. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Message and data rates may apply. You may ask not to receive further text messages by replying STOP or by telling the caller.
Do not provide a number you do not control or lack permission to use. Insured Portfolios, LLC does not knowingly use the appointment form to send unrelated mass marketing messages.
5. When information may be shared
Information may be shared with personnel and licensed producers who need it to respond; website-hosting, email, security or technology providers that support the site; professional advisers or vendors subject to appropriate obligations; insurance carriers or service providers when you later authorize or request an application or transaction; and governmental, regulatory, law-enforcement or legal-process recipients when disclosure is reasonably required.
Insured Portfolios, LLC does not sell appointment-form information for payment. Information submitted later as part of an insurance application may be governed by additional carrier and producer privacy notices.
6. Data retention
Appointment information may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to respond, document the inquiry and consent, maintain business and compliance records, resolve disputes and meet legal obligations. Retention periods may vary. The included website form emails submissions to the configured recipient and does not intentionally save the form contents to a website database or local text file.
7. Security
Reasonable administrative and technical safeguards are used, but no website, email transmission, telephone system or storage method is completely secure. Use a current browser, access the site over HTTPS, and avoid sending sensitive data through the public form or ordinary email.
8. Your choices
You may choose not to use the form and instead call 505-990-8235. You may ask to correct contact information or request that ordinary marketing contact stop. Some records may need to be retained for legal, regulatory, fraud-prevention or recordkeeping purposes.
9. Children
This website is intended for adults seeking retirement or life-insurance information and is not directed to children. Do not submit information about a child through the appointment form.
10. External services and links
Third-party websites and embedded services have their own terms and privacy practices. Insured Portfolios, LLC does not control those practices. Review the third party’s notice before providing information through its service.
